Bio
Larry Works has been a part of Roane State since the beginning. Starting in 1972, Works held two head coaching positions – head baseball coach and head women’s basketball coach. He served as the women’s basketball coach from 1973 to 1975. His college baseball head coaching role spanned from 1973 to 1979 and 1991 to 2009. In 1999, Works’ team finished the TCCAA tournament as runner-up. Coach Works was instrumental during a time when the baseball program could have been disbanded, making sure the program remained a part of Roane State.
